Last updated at 21:23, 1 Apr 2013Uploaded at 18:19, 20 Dec 2012 Since I started modding the first time ever with my 'Ultimate HD Torch' mod, I am infected! After retexturing the fire effects of the torch, I thought it would be nice to have better fire textures for the whole game. So here is the next step getting better fire textures in Skyrim: The Ultimate HD Fire Effects! If you recognize a "missing texture", bugs or you simply have suggested improvements feel free to contact me or just leave a message in the comments! WHAT'S NEW? v1.9: Built the whole mod from scratch including 23 textures & 5 meshes! Improved smoke for fires caused by magic spells (replacing the ugly vanilla smoke loop!) Increased the resolution up to 4K-8K, depending on the vanilla texture resolution. The new files include improved textures for sparks! Deleted vaportile01.dds because it didn't make sense to scale it up! Low and Medium Resolution files uploaded (rescaled textures based on the Ultra Version) hd fire

As of now we are up to 1.1 which includes a dungeon, the Venator main camp and a second underground one, several followers, new shields and a banner, with plenty of stuff still in the pipeline including more dungeons, new encounters, including increasing the Forsworn presence in the Reach, more followers, more books to explore the lore of the Venator and the followers included in the mod as it was felt that they all needed they're own unique stories. Hope you enjoy.Dhegonus

Craftable Viking Helmet

This simply adds a craftable "Viking Helmet" that resembles the Helm of Yngol. The Helm of Yngol is also worth more (It is a treasure item after all). As much as I love Skyrim, it bugged me I could only find 1 steel horned helmet with upright horns. The Helm of Yngol IS a cool treasure item, however it can't be tempered and when I got the Helm (For the first time) it's armor rating wasn't as good as what I was wearing. Anyways, I just thought it'd be cool to be able to craft a helm with upright horns and be able to improve it as well.Craftable Viking Helmet

There is a legend of a weapon forged in the deserts of Hammerfell called Matekhet-Esh: A curved sword that harnesses the power of an inferno, and sharper than most blades. In awe over such craftsmanship and in fear that many would use such a weapon to attain power, a Dark Elf named Jawshya Vvyaighd has hidden the sword somewhere in Skyrim as well as a clue to find it. A book he wrote lies beneath Helgan Keep, under the protection of a bear that made this cave her home. But the book only leads to clues as to the true location of Matekhet-Esh...Matekhet-Esh
